The last Saturday of August 2011 has possibly been the last warm (+25 Celcius) day this Summer and the evening at the time of this photo around 19:00 was still very warm. A lot of people were strolling down Kaivopuisto shore and tables were full at the traditional carpet pier and the adjacent Mattolaituri (carpet pier) restaurant. But nobody was washing their carpets 🙂
