I added a couple of new features to my site to allow sharing content to social media. On the headline of each post or page is a 
(fb)-logo, which allows you to link the story to your Facebook pages.
Technically this has been implemented usin “Simple Facebook Link” plugin, where I also added this FB logo picture as the plugin originally only has a text link. In order to have the link at the place that suits my site best, I tailored Atahualpa Theme’s Posts/Pages “headline” with the additional code – thus allowing the link to show up in the headline without any other actions.
A more flexible social media sharing feature can be easily added to WordPress sites is with “Sociable” plugin. I selected it to share the content in Google Bookmarks, LinkedIn, MySpace and Yahoo Bookmarks.
